The Gaskell X-BASS was our first left handed bass guitar. Explorer® bass guitars were only ever made between 1984 and 1987, and never in left hand. For the first time in history left handed bass players can now get a left handed Explorer style bass guitar! Redesigned in Australia, the Gaskell X-BASS shares the same slightly smaller, more manageable body as our six string, and uses an original style 3-point bass bridge. Sound is achieved through twin Gaskell OEM humbucking bass pickups. The Gaskell XBASS is so unique that anyone playing one is going to stand out like no other bass player. It is not enough to say that this bass is "rare" - it is correct to say that this bass was simply "non existent" until now.
